Fairfax College Students Receive Academic Honors At Their Schools
Patch recognizes the students from the Fairfax who were recently honored by their universities.

FAIRFAX, VA — To shine a light on their academic achievements, Patch shares information provided by Merit News about students from the Fairfax City area who were recently recognized by their schools.
Grace Elizabeth Cooke of Fairfax was named to the Clemson University President's List for Fall 2023. To earn this distinction, a student must earn a minimum 4.0 grade point average while successfully completing at least 12 semester hours, excluding Pass/No Pass coursework.
Regan Tate of Fairfax earned Dean's List honors during the fall 2023 semester at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. To attain this distinction, students must earn at least a 3.5 average on a 4.0 grading scale.

Charles Hedrick of Fairfax was among a distinguished group of students to be named to the President's List for the Fall 2023 semester at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. An anthropology major, Hedrick was named to the President's List for earning a 4.0 with at least 12 semester hours.
Mia Angarita of Fairfax earned dean's list honors at The University of Tampa for the Fall 2023 semester. Angarita is a junior majoring in Art Therapy BA. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.

Fairfax students Jason Dwyer, Jacob Dwyer and Erik Wilkinson were recently named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2023 semester at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Pennsylvania.
Ethan Phan of Fairfax earned Faculty Honors for Fall 2023 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester.
Fairfax students Andrew Lim, Dennis Velez, and Colton Yee were named to the Dean's List at the Georgia Institute of Technology for Fall 2023. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.
Xiang Li of Fairfax recently earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Li was among approximately 6,300 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute's 265th Commencement exercises Dec. 15 - 16, 2023, at McCamish Pavilion.
