Fairfax Driver Faces Myriad Charges After DUI In Ashburn: LCSO
A drunk Fairfax driver was arrested Wednesday after fleeing from police before being halted by stop sticks in Ashburn, says the LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA—A drunk Fairfax driver was arrested early Wednesday after fleeing from police before being halted by stop sticks in the area of River Creek Parkway and Route 28, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Chau Nguyen, 45, was charged with felony eluding, obstruction of justice, driving under the influence, felony hit-and-run and destruction of property.
Around 12:30 a.m., a deputy spotted a vehicle near Route 15 and Leesburg that couldn't stay in its lanes. He hit his lights but Nguyen kept heading east on Route 7. After police deployed the stop sticks and forced him to stop, he refused to get out of the vehicle.
A K-9 unit helped persuade him to do just that. He suffered minor injuries.
