Fairfax Flooding: Sandbags Available for City Residents
BREAKING: Flash flood watch until early Friday morning.
FAIRFAX, VA — With heavy and extended rain expected through Friday, Fairfax is providing free sandbags to city residents at the Property Yard, 3410 Pickett Road, while supplies last.
Limit is five sandbags.
The National Weather Service issued a flood warning Thursday morning. A flash flood watch is in effect until early Friday morning, with heavy rains expected to continue through Thursday evening.
