Fairfax Man Dies From Injuries Sustained In Motorcycle Crash: Police

A 20-year-old man died Monday night from injuries he received during a two-vehicle crash on Braddock Road on Oct. 3, according to police.

FAIRFAX, VA — A 20-year-old motorcyclist from Fairfax died from injuries he received during a two-vehicle crash Oct. 3 near the Kings Park West neighborhood.

Investigators determined that Joshua Doan-Ha was heading eastbound on Braddock Road around 7:21 p.m., when his 2023 Kawasaki Ninja struck a 2016 Toyota Corolla. The car was trying to turn left onto Carriagepark Road from the westbound lane, when it was hit by the motorcycle.

Doan-Ha was taken to the hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries. On Monday night, he succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital, according to police.

Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit were still working to determine if either speed or alcohol were factors in the crash, according to police.
