Fairfax Man Killed After Running Red Light in Alexandria: Police
A 79-year-old Fairfax man was killed Monday night after running a red light and hitting another car in an intersection: Alexandria Police.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A 79-year-old Fairfax man was killed Monday night after running a red light and slamming into another vehicle at the intersection of Duke Street and North Quaker Lane, according to Alexandria Police. The two occupants of the other vehicle were treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Around 10:45 p.m., police responded to the scene of the accident. Their found investigation that the man, whose identity has not been released, was headed south on Quaker Lane when he rolled through a red light and collided with the other vehicle in the intersection.
