Fairfax Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Collision: Police
A Fairfax man was killed early Saturday morning when his car struck a pole on Indian Head Highway in Accokeek, Maryland.
ACCOKEEK, MD — A Fairfax man was killed early Saturday morning when the car he was driving hit a pole along Indian Head Highway in Accokeek, Maryland, according to a Prince George's County Police release. Police identified the deceased victim as 57-year-old James Endter.
Around 12:45 a.m., PGPD officers responded to the report of a single-vehicle collision on southbound Indian Head Highway at Berry Road. Following a preliminary investigation, police determined that Endter was traveling southbound on Indian Head Highway when his vehicle mounted the median and struck a pole. Endter was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
