FAIRFAX, VA — Twinbrooke Centre in Fairfax is set to add Trummer’s Coffee & Wine Bar and PUMP24, according to a March 19 announcement from Federal Realty Investment Trust. The real estate company said the additions will expand the shopping center’s lineup of neighborhood-focused businesses following a recent renovation.

Federal Realty said Twinbrooke Centre is home to more than 20 businesses with local ownership ties or local operators, including Tony’s N.Y. Pizza, Noosh, Kokee Tea and Kids United. The company said the renovation included updated architecture, lighting, landscaping, accessibility and common areas, along with new gathering spaces for visitors. Federal Realty also said murals featuring daisy flower gardens were added throughout the property, including a painted portrait of Daisy, the dog of Bread and More Bakery owner Mustafa “Max” Malek, on a column near the bakery.

PUMP24 is scheduled to open later this spring. Federal Realty described it as a 24/7 fitness brand that will include strength, cardio and functional training zones. “PUMP24 was designed for people who take their training seriously and want a premium, 24/7 gym experience without the compromises of a traditional big-box facility,” co-owner Ned Williams said. “This location is particularly special to us—our ownership team are all W.T. Woodson High School graduates who grew up in these surrounding neighborhoods. We’re proud to bring this elevated fitness concept back to the community that we’ve called home for decades.”
