Joker Lawn Ornament Latest Offering From Fairfax Company
The product wizards at ThinkGeek have created a centerpiece for your haunted yard this fall.
Fairfax-based online store ThinkGeek is making national headlines for a Batman villain-themed Halloween decoration that will have fans of the franchise grinning ear to ear.
Inspired by Batman: Death in the Family, ThinkGeek has released a lawn ornament it’s calling “DC The Joker Ground Breaker.” The name comes from DC comics, through which ThinkGeek received official licensing to make the lawn ornament, as well as popular Batman villain The Joker.
The ornament makes it appear as though The Joker is rising up through the Earth to haunt trick-or-treaters this Halloween, thanks to a clever, detailed design from artist Greg Capullo.

The Joker is donning his signature grin, re-popularized by the film The Dark Knight starring the late Heath Ledger as The Joker (Ledger won an Oscar for the role), and wielding a knife as he bursts out of the ground.
The ornament measures 36 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 10 inches tall, and costs $89.99 on ThinkGeek’s website.
