Felony Hit And Run Charge Filed Following Collision At Fairfax Circle

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A Michigan man was arrested on a felony hit-and-run charge, after leaving the scene of a collision near Fairfax Circle around midnight on Dec. 26, according to police.

City of Fairfax Police responded around 12: 10 a.m. to the area of Fairfax Boulevard and Blenheim Boulevard for the report of a hit and run. The reporting party told police that their vehicle was struck by another vehicle as they were driving through Fairfax Circle. They told police the driver of the striking vehicle then left the scene.

A short time later, the driver, identified as 28-year-old Dante Williams of Bloomfield, Michigan, was located in Fairfax County and arrested.

After being taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, Williams was charged with felony hit and run and then held on a secured bond, according to police.
