Weapons Charge Levied Against Fairfax City Woman, Man: Police

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A man and woman are facing weapons charges after pointing and waving a firearm on Fairchester Drive in Fairfax City, according the weekly crime report.

City of Fairfax Police were summoned around 2:09 p.m., on Dec. 20, for the report of a man and woman pointing and waving a firearm in the 10800 block of Fairchester Drive.

After locating the two subjects of the report, officers determined that the woman had a firearm and the man was intoxicated, according to the report. Police issued a summons to 42-year-old Alicia Williams of Fairfax for brandishing. Williams was released, but she has an upcoming court date.

Police took 43-year-old Oscar Montoya Berrera of no fixed address to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Montoya Berrera was held on a $3,000 secured bond. He faces brandishing and drunk in public charges, according to the report.
