Fresh Produce For Sale Weekly Outside Providence Community Center

FAIRFAX, VA — Residents living near the Vienna-Fairfax-GMU Metro station will have a new place to buy fresh fruit and vegetables thanks to the weekly Providence Produce with Potomac Market.

Every Wednesday, from 3-7 p.m., Potomac Farm Market will be setting up a stand and selling fresh local produce, agricultural and jarred goods, and local honey in the parking lot of the Providence Community Center.

Last Wednesday, the Potomac Farm Market, which is based in Potomac, Maryland, held its first market outside the Providence Community Center, which is located a short walk from the Metro station at 3001 Vaden Drive in Fairfax. On sale were watermelons, peaches, potatoes and other in-season produce.
