Gas Line Struck In Fairfax City; Crews Work To Repair: Alert

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Motorists should avoid the area North Street in Old Town Fairfax midday on Friday, as crews work to repair a gas leak.

City of Fairfax Fire Department reported a gas line that was struck in the area of the 10400 block of North Street, according to an 11:04 a.m. alert. Eastbound North Street and Westbound North Street have both been reduced to one lane each.
