WATCH: High-Speed Chase Ends in Crash Off I-95
The early-morning drama was captured live on TV news.

Fairfax County police arrested an Arlington woman early Tuesday morning after a high-speed chase on the Beltway and Interstate 95.
At about 7:45 a.m., the chase was captured on camera by a news helicopter and broadcast live on WRC-TV Channel 4 and other local TV stations as the woman’s pickup truck sped down I-95 towards Lorton. She exited onto the Fairfax County Parkway and made several U-turns with police in pursuit.

The silver pickup smashed into several police cars along the way, but police boxed her in on the parkway’s bridge over I-95, stopped the truck and arrested her.
The chase was not related to the manhunt for a prisoner who escaped custody early Tuesday at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Taken into custody was 36-year-old Lakisha Tracy, who has outstanding warrants from Arlington County, according to the Fairfax County police..
Tracy was wanted in Arlington for credit card theft, forgery and other offenses, Channel 4 reported.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. In addition, two Fairfax County police officers and one Virginia State trooper were treated for minor injuries.
