Holiday 2016: What's Open, What's Closed in Fairfax

FAIRFAX, VA — Holiday schedule juggling begins next Thursday for various city agencies, and a normal routine will not be fully in place until Jan. 4.

Here's a list of what's open and what's not, and when and where:

Thursday, December 22, 2016

• General District Court closes at noon

Friday, December 23, 2016

• City government offices — close at noon
• General District Court — closed
• CUE Bus — regular schedule
• Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center — closes at noon
• Civil War Interpretive Center at Historic Blenheim — closes at noon
• Refuse and recycling — collected on regular schedule

Saturday, December 24, 2016

• CUE Bus — regular schedule until service ends at 7 pm
• Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center — closed
• Civil War Interpretive Center at Historic Blenheim — closed

Sunday, December 25, 2016

• CUE Bus — no service
• Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center — closed

Monday, December 26, 2016

• City government offices — closed
• General District Court — closed
• CUE Bus — modified weekday schedule
• Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center — open
