Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care Opens New Health Center In Fairfax City

Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care opens doors in the Pickett Shopping Center, offering a range of services for non-life-threatening conditions.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Fairfax City residents seeking quick and easy medical care now have another option thanks to Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care opening a new location this week in the Pickett Shopping Center near the intersection of Main Street and Pickett Road.

Having quick and easy access to medical care is essential resource for the community, according Meredith Porter, M.D., medical director of Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care.

“We are committed to expanding our urgent care network and are excited to open our Pickett center, bringing high-quality care to where our patients live, work and play," she said.

The new Inova-GoHealth center, which is located near Trader Joes' at 9404-A Main St., provides direct access to Inova's robust care network for patients 6 months and older, according to a release.

The center offers a wide range of services for non-life-threatening conditions, including flu, fever, earaches, insect bites, sprains, simple fractures, eye injuries, and cuts requiring stitches. The center also offers X-ray services, labs and COVID-19 testing.

Although patients can pre-register online for an appointment or to hold a place in line, Inova-GoHealth also welcomes walk-ins.

The Picket Road center is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, rom 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All Inova-GoHealth centers are open 365 days a year, including holidays.
