FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police are investigating the cause of suspicious death that occurred Saturday morning at 9715 Fairfax Blvd.

Police were called to the address around 9:21 a.m. for the report of a dead body, according to a release. Officers found a deceased adult who remains unidentified. The body was taken to the Medical Examiner's Office for further investigation.

Police were called to the address by an employee of one of the tenants of the building. The body was found inside a dumpster that serves the multi-tenant shopping center, according to a building tenant.

Police do not believe that there is any threat to the community related to the discovery of the deceased adult.
