Jeff Goldberg to host the Fairfax County Volunteer Service Awards on Friday, April 25, 2014!

Volunteer Fairfax is pleased to announce that Jeff Goldberg, Virginia Bureau Chief for ABC7/WJLA-TV and News Channel 8, will once again host the 22nd Fairfax County Volunteer Service Awards Breakfast on Friday, April 25.

Volunteer Fairfax, along with the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, will honor local superheros, otherwise known as volunteers. The event will be held at the Waterford in Springfield from 8-10 am.

Jeff Goldberg will join us for a morning of heroic stories about everyday heroes making extraordinary contributions.

Goldberg is no stranger to Volunteer Fairfax or the National Capital Region.   He made his debut at George Washington Hospital, traveled for school and work, and then returned to the region where he covers everything from breaking news to human interests. Jeff also enjoys being in the community at events, and having hosted for Volunteer Fairfax previously, he is happy to return for another engagement.

Tickets are now on sale for the 22nd Annual Fairfax County Volunteer Service Awards hosted by Jeff Goldberg.  For information and to purchase, go to

See real life heroes in action:  Join us on Friday, April 25!
