Jury Duty Scam Dupes Fairfax City Resident: Police
A Fairfax City resident was the victim of a jury duty scam. Plus the daily crime recap.

FAIRFAX, VA—A Fairfax City resident fell victim to a jury duty scam in the 4100 Block of Fern Street.
City of Fairfax Police say the man received a call Sunday from a male identifying himself as a sergeant from the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office.
The unknown man said there were two warrants for charges of missing jury duty. He told the victim he needed to cover the bond by getting money cards and provide the numbers. 3200 Block of Old Lee Highway / Trail – On August 1 at 6:30 PM the victim, a 50 year old Fairfax area woman, reported that while bicycling on the trail she had observed a white male subject exposing himself.

Chain Bridge Road / North Street – On August 3 at 2:44 AM officers who had conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to stop for a red light determined that the driver was intoxicated. Adrienne Lynn Radesky, 30, of 2572 Chain Bridge Road, Vienna, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and her bond was set at $1500.

11108 Lee Highway / Cigar and Vape – On August 4 at 3:30 PM an employee reported that an unknown male subject had taken several items of merchandise and run out of the store without paying. The Field Operations Division is investigating the case.
