KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot Shows Signs Of Impending Opening In Fairfax
Long-anticipated Korean barbecue restaurant chain seems to be inching toward opening its Fairfax City location.

FAIRFAX CITY,VA — KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot appears to be on the verge of opening its new restaurant at 4000 Gateway Drive in Fairfax City.
Anyone walking by the restaurant space on the city's north side earlier this week may have noticed a large "Come On In. We're Open" sign.
However, a glance through the windows confirmed that work was still being completed in the dining area. Another sign hanging above the main entrance showed that the restaurant was still in the process of hiring employees.

While the KPOT Fairfax City website said the restaurant was "Coming Soon," a recording on the location's main number says that current plans are to open the last week in May. A Google search for "KPOT Northern Virginia" seemed to support that, because it included "Opens Mon May 27" next to the Fairfax listing.
"KPOT is leading a cultural dining revolution!," according to the company's website. "Born from four friends from different backgrounds who blended their cuisines over a shared table, KPOT is a unique, hands-on, all-you-can-eat experience that merges traditional Asian hot pot with Korean BBQ flavors."
