Delays, Closures Expected To Start This Weekend At I-66/Nutley Street Interchange
Virginia Department of Transportation will institute new ramp closures and lane shifts to facilitate I-66/Nutley Street Interchange work.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Starting this weekend, drivers in traveling through the I-66/Nutley Street intersection in Fairfax County will encounter a new traffic pattern, part of which is expected to last until June.
Virginia Department of Transportation work crews will be shifting travel lanes on Nutley Street and closing the ramp from Nutley Street South to I-66 West starting Friday.
Drivers on southbound Nutley Street will need to travel an additional 500 feet to turn right onto a temporary ramp to I-66 West. This detour is expected to last about three weeks.

The new traffic patter will remain through June and will allow VDOT to finish work on the new Nutley Street Interchange and shared-use path tunnel.
