Lanier Principal Is Moving Up to Woodson High: Report
Administrator is set to start new duties on April 13.

Scott F. Poole is leaving the top post at Lanier Middle School in Fairfax City to take the helm at Woodson, one of the top-performing high schools in the Fairfax County system, according to a recent story about Poole in the Washington Post. His first day at Woodson is scheduled for Monday, April 13.
Poole is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and serves as president of the Middle School Principals Association, according to the Post. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Virginia.

Woodson High is on Little River Turnpike (Route 236) on the city’s eastern border. It has an enrollment of 2,364; the class of 2015 totals 530 seniors, according to the school’s website.
