Late-Night Shooting In Fair Oaks Investigated By Fairfax County Police
Fairfax County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred outside a Fair Oaks area home early Tuesday morning.
FAIRFAX, VA — Fairfax County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning in the Fair Oaks area, according to the weekly crime report.
Police responded around 3:18 a.m., for the report of a man firing a handgun into the air in the 12000 block of Thompson Road.
The victim told police that they were awoken by the sound of their car alarm. After turning on their outside lights, the victim exited their home and saw two men wearing all black. The men ran off, but one of them fired a handgun into the air. They then entered a waiting sedan and drove away.
