On December 11, 2022 at 4:14 P.M. City of Fairfax Police investigated a stabbing which took place at 9797 Beech Drive, Draper Drive Park. Investigation revealed that during a verbal altercation, a subject was stabbed in the lower body by an acquaintance. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Fairfax Hospital for treatment. The suspect was later located and taken into custody.

Hugo Avalos-Aguilar, 41, of No Fixed Address, was arrested for one count of Malicious Wounding (18.2-51) and one count of Drunk in Public (54-228). Avalos-Aguilar was held without bond.
