Malicious Wounding Charges Filed Against 19-Year-Old Fairfax Woman
A 19-year-old woman was arrested following an altercation that occurred after she refused to leave a Fairfax City pool hall.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A 19-year-old Fairfax woman faces multiple charges, including the malicious wounding of a police officer, following an altercation that took place early Friday morning a Fairfax City pool hall, according to police.
Officers responded around 1:30 a.m, to Revolution Dart and Billiards at 9687 Fairfax Blvd. for the report of a patron refusing to leave.
A preliminary investigation revealed that when the woman refused to leave, a fight broke out and multiple people were bitten, according to police.

The officers located the suspect, identified as 19-year-old Emma Epps of Fairfax, and took her into custody. During the arrest, Epps bit one of the officers on the arm, according to police.
Epps was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with malicious wounding, malicious wounding on a law enforcement officer, assault on a law enforcement officer, trespassing, disorderly conduct and intoxicate in public. Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct, Intoxicated in Public. She was then held without bond.
