FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police arrested a man for causing more than $1,500 in damage to two vehicles at the Jermantown Shell Station on Saturday.

Officers responded to the gas station located at 11201 Fairfax Blvd. around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday for the report of a man striking two vehicles with a metal pole, according to police.

The officers arrested 39-year-old Charles Bright of no fixed address nearby and took him to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

Police charged Bright with felony destruction of property and held him without bond.
