Detectives Still At Scene Of Homicide In Fairfax Sunday Morning
Detectives were still investigating a homicide in a commercial townhouse development near the Route 29/Blake Lane intersection in Fairfax.

FAIRFAX, VA —Fairfax County Police detectives were still conducting a homicide investigation around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, east of the City of Fairfax.
FCPD's mobile forensic van was parked in front of a commercial townhouse on Route 29 near the Blake Lane/Pickett Road intersection.

Yellow and red police tape had been wrapped around the perimeter of the parking lot, starting about 50 yards up Blake Lane and extending south to the corner and along Route 29 to the east, all the way to the exit of the Gerry Connolly Cross County Trail.
Police responded Saturday afternoon for the report of an unconscious man. When officers arrived on the scene, the found the man, who was unresponsive. The victim later was declared deceased at the scene, according to police.

The police have not released the identity of the homicide victim nor the cause of his death.
