Manassas Woman Arrested After Breaking Into Local Business: Cops

FAIRFAX, VA – A 28-year-old Manassas woman is being held without bond after being arrested Monday night after police said she was found breaking into the Certified Car Center.

Shanice Yates is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center after she was found at the Fairfax business in the 9600 block of Fairfax Boulevard shortly after 10 a.m. Monday, Fairfax police announced Tuesday.

Police said that an employee noticed someone who had broken into the business after she removed an air conditioning window unit and entered through a window. Police said that it was later discovered that money was found to be missing. Yates was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, grand larceny and possession of burglary tools.
