Assault At Fairfax City 7-Eleven Leads To Arrest Of MD Man: Police
City of Fairfax Police arrested a Maryland man in connection with an early morning assault at the 7-Eleven on University Drive on Sunday.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A 27-year-old Maryland man was arrested for assault early Sunday morning at a Fairfax City convenience store, according to the weekly crime report.
Officers from the City of Fairfax Police responded around 12:43 a.m., to the 7-Eleven at 3910 University Drive for the report of an assault.
The person who contacted police said that a man had pushed him in the chest during a argument inside the store, according to the release.

Police identified the suspect as Derrick Onley of Olney, Maryland and that he was intoxicated.
After taking Onley to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, the officers charged him with being drunk in public and assault. Onley remained at the detention center on a $1,500 unsecured bond until he was sober.
