MD Man Wanted In Fairfax City Beauty Store Theft Jailed In Arlington

A suspect wanted in the theft of $4,000 in beauty products from a Fairfax City store was arrested in Arlington on unrelated charges.

FAIRFAX, VA — A suspect wanted in the theft of more than $4,000 in beauty products from a Fairfax City store in February was arrested in Arlington on unrelated charges, City of Fairfax Police said Tuesday.

On Feb. 15, two suspects entered Ulta Beauty at 9600 Main Street with duffle bags and filled them with merchandise before fleeing in a car, police said. The vehicle was later found to be owned by one of the suspects.

Police officers identified one of the suspects as Ronald D. Thomas, 24, of Brandywine, Maryland. A warrant was obtained for his arrest on one count of grand larceny.

On March 28, Arlington County Police arrested Thomas on other charges and held him in the Arlington County Adult Detention Center without bond.

Upon learning of his arrest in Arlington, Fairfax City Police served Thomas with the grand larceny warrant at the Arlington County jail.
