Mezeh Mediterranean Grill Now Open In Fairfax

FAIRFAX, VA — If you happen to be at Fair Oaks today (Friday, Jan. 26), there's an opportunity for free food. That's right. Free food.

It's the official grand opening of Mezeh Mediterranean Grill, and the Maryland-based chain is rewarding customers with the aforementioned free food. All you have to do is buy a drink to receive a free chicken shawarma rice bowl. The offer applies 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 5-9 p.m.

Mezeh Mediterranean Grill, which opened its first place in 2013 in Annapolils, Md., is a fast-casual eatery with a buffet-style of offerings that include rice and salad bowls, pita pockets, wraps and a variety of sauces and toppings.

It also makes the following promise to customers: "We have meticulously selected ingredients to ensure that they do not contain any additives or preservatives or unnecessary sugar, salt or fat."

It's the second Northern Virginia location for Mezeh, according to its website, with the other in Arlington. The restaurant, which also has outlets in Charlottesville and suburban Richmond, is set to expand to Reston and two locations in Springfield. It has four locations in Maryland with two more set to open.
