Multiple Road Closures Friday in Fairfax

FAIRFAX, VA — The northbound and southbound lanes of Chain Bridge Road will have alternating lane closures 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday from Fairfax Boulevard to Eaton Place for utility work. Motorists are advised to use an alternative route. Also:

• The left eastbound and westbound lanes of Fairfax Boulevard will be closed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. from Chain Bridge Road to Eaton Place for utility work.
• The right southbound lane of University Drive will be closed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. from South Street to Armstrong Street for sidewalk installations.
• The northbound lane of East Street will be closed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. from Sager Avenue to Main Street for utility work.
