Multiple Road-Work Projects Wednesday in Fairfax

FAIRFAX, VA — The right westbound lane of Main Street will be closed 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday from University Drive to Chain Bridge Road for storm drain work. Also:

• The right northbound lane of Pickett Road will be closed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. from Main Street to Colonial Avenue for concrete replacement.
• The eastbound and westbound left lanes of Fairfax Boulevard will be closed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. from Eaton Place to Chain Bridge Road for work associated with the Northfax project.
• There's ongoing utility work on Sager Avenue between Barbour Drive and East Street from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
