New Baby Girl Arrives Early For Providence District Supervisor
Providence District Supervisor Dalia Palchik gave birth to a baby girl Monday at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
FAIRFAX, VA — Providence District Supervisor Dalia Palchik and her husband Jeffrey Friedman celebrated the birth of their daughter on Monday.
Palchik posted the following announcement on the Providence District Supervisor's official Facebook account on Tuesday afternoon:
"Big News!
"…or little big news, anyway.
"Jeffrey and I were thrilled to welcome our new daughter Sivan Esther Friedman into the world on Monday, January 17, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Our little peanut is a little early, (perfect balance, her mother is always late) and weighs in at 4 lbs. 14 oz., but everyone is healthy, and we couldn’t be more over the moon.
"I want to take a minute to thank everyone at INOVA (especially to the team at the Women's Hospital and the Antenatal Testing Center) who took such good care of me over the last few months. Especially as a pandemic raged all around us. To all the doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and more, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Jeffrey and I cannot ever fully express our appreciation. I am extremely fortunate to live here in Fairfax, and have access to such amazing medical care.
"Ok, Sivan and I are going to take a nap, but she’s coming to work with me soon, so please stop in and say hello.
"With love,
"Dalia"
