New Restaurant Coming to Former Ruby Tuesday Location

FAIRFAX CITY, VA -- Remember Ruby Tuesday's at Fairfax Court Shopping Center? Well, as the song goes, "goodbye Ruby Tuesday" -- (oops, and let's not forget, the same company's Marlin & Ray's that took its place for eight months) and say hello to:

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar

The popular eatery that got its start 30 years ago in Ohio specializes in, you guessed it, chicken wings (see all their varieties and sauces here), will be opening at the former Ruby Tuesday's location at 11204 James Swart Circle at the Fairfax Court Shopping Center (see map below). The company has a pending application with the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to sell beer and wine at the location.

Fairfax Court Shopping Center is located at the intersection of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway (Route 50) and Waples Mill Road.

Another wings restaurant, Buffalo Wing University on Willard Way, closed in Fairfax last fall.

There are currently more than a half dozen Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in Northern Virginia.

No word on when the new Buffalo Wild Wings will open.
