Recognize a Community Superhero with a Nomination at the Fairfax Co. Volunteer Service Awards!

Nominations for the 22nd Annual Fairfax County Volunteer Service Awards are STILL OPEN! Deadline is Feb. 3, but act quickly! This is your chance to recognize our community superheroes, better known as volunteers, for their dedication to improving life in Fairfax County.  Volunteer Fairfax makes nominating easy! We’d like to guide you through the process to make it simple for you.

How Do I Nominate?

Well, It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…

1. Decide whom you will honor with a nomination.

This year, there are a total of sixteen competitive categories and four benchmark awards! There are awards available for all segments of volunteer society; from youth to seniors, from individuals to families and groups, and from veteran volunteers to newbies.

2. Go to volunteerfairfax.org to access the nomination form.

Nominations must be received via online application to Volunteer Fairfax.  Before beginning the application it is a good idea to preview the application to make sure that you have all information needed.  Click here to view nomination form.

3. Fill out the nomination form and press submit!

Nominating is FREE! (with the exception of the Benchmark Awards*.)

*(Each organization can nominate up to three volunteers for free with a fee of $35 per each additional nomination.)
