Northern Virginia Weather: Last Gasp for Brrrrrrr?

It's looking like it, according to the area branch of the National Weather Service. Even so, the cherry blossoms face yet another test.

STERLING, VA — Are the cold nights gone? Nope. As a matter of fact, the area arm of the National Weather Service expects temperatures in the lower 20 Wednesday night — another rough row for the cherry blossoms.

However, that might be the last well-below-freezing evening for quite a while.

Lows the rest of the week are expected to be moderate with partly sunny skies.
