Northern Virginia weekend weather should be OK and getting better as we head toward next week, according to the National Weather Service.

STERLING, VA — Get ready for the big warm-up, folks, beginning AFTER tonight but gradually bumping up into seasonal climes for the weekend, according to the area outpost of the National Weather Service.
And next week? It's expected to feel like summer, especially in the early part of the spectrum.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36. Breezy, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph decreasing to 13 to 18 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 38 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 60. Northwest wind 13 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light west after midnight.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 68. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the morning.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. South wind around 7 mph.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 77.
