Numerous Roads Affected by Construction Work Tuesday in Fairfax

FAIRFAX, VA — The right westbound lane of Main Street between University Drive and Chain Bridge Road will be closed Tuesday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. for storm drain work. Also:

• The right northbound lane of Pickett Road from Main Street to Colonial Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for concrete replacement.
• The eastbound and westbound left lanes of Fairfax Boulevard from Eaton Place to Chain Bridge Road will be closed from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for work associated with the Northfax project.
• Parts of Sager Avenue will be closed between Barbour Drive and East Street from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for utility work.
