Nysmith 8th Grade Student Akshaj K Places 8th in the Nation at 2014 Math Counts Competition

Nysmith 8th grade student Akshaj Kadaveru recently traveled to the 2014 Math Counts National Competition held in Orlando Florida. Akshaj achieved the highest score in all of Virginia in the written round and placed 8th individually in the nation. Overall, the Virginia team placed 3rd in the nation.
