Over $70K Embezzled By Employee Of Fairfax City Business: Police
A Centreville woman faces three felony embezzlement charges for stealing more than $70,000 from her employer in Fairfax City.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Fairfax City Police arrested a 24-year-old Centreville woman on Nov. 9, in connection with the embezzlement of more than $70,000 from Interstate Enterprises, Inc., which is located at 3169 Spring St., according to a police release.
Interstate Enterprises notified police on Sept. 30 that an employee had been stealing and forging the company's checks since May 2021.
Following an investigation, officers obtained warrants for three counts of felony embezzlement for Maria Perez Aguilar of 14713 Green Park Way in Centreville. Police took Perez Aguilar to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where she was held on a $2,000 unsecured bond.
