Part of University Drive Closed Thursday in Fairfax City

FAIRFAX, VA — One northbound lane of University Drive from Sager Avenue to North Street will be closed Thursday from 6:30 a.m.-2 p.m. for concrete and asphalt reports.

One northbound lane and one southbound lane will remain open at all times but motorists are urged to use alternate routes if possible.

Also, the southbound lane of Jermantown Road will be blocked at Orchard Street for asphalt repairs from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Motorists will be shifted to the left to pass the work zone.
