Parts of Fairfax Boulevard, Main Street Closed Thursday in Fairfax
Reasons: overhead utility work, median work and storm drain flushing, according to city officials. All the work should be done by 3 p.m.
FAIRFAX, VA — The westbound and eastbound lanes of Fairfax Boulevard will be closed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. from Kamp Washington to 11020 Fairfax Boulevard for concrete work in the median. Also:
- The westbound right lane of Main Street will be closed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. from Keith Avenue to Oak Street for overhead utility work.
- The right lane of westbound Main Street from Fairview Drive to East Street, and the right lane of eastbound Main Street from East Street to Burke Station Road will be closed 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. for storm drain flushing.
