Parts of Main Street Closed Monday in Fairfax
Some asphalt repairs will last all week in the downtown area; motorists urged to use alternate routes.
FAIRFAX, VA — One lane of westbround and eastbround Main Street from Old Lee Highway to University Drive will be closed Monday from 6 a.m.-3 p.m. for road work, and motorists are urged to choose an alternate route.
Also, work crews will be replacing concrete curb and driveway entrances on Main Street from East Street to University Drive all week beginning Monday from 5 a.m.-3 p.m. Motorists are urged to use North Street as an alternate east-west route through downtown.
Too, the right westbound lane of Sager Avenue will be closed Monday at Locust Street from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
