Parts of Main Street Closed Tuesday in Fairfax City

FAIRFAX, VA — Asphalt and concrete repairs Tuesday will affect Main Street traffic at three locations.

From 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m., one northbound lane on University Drive will be closed from Sager Avenue to Main Street.

From 9 a.m.-3 p.m., there will be alternating lane closures on westbound Main Street between North Street and Railroad Avenue.

From 9 a.m.-3 p.m., there will be alternating lane closures on westbound Main Street between Burke Station Road and Tedrich Boulevard.

Also, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., the right westbound lane of Sager Avenue will be closed at the intersection of Locust Lane.
