Parts of Main Street, Fairfax Boulevard Closed Wednesday in Fairfax
Overhead utility work and storm drain flushing are the culprits, according to city officials. All the work should be wrapped up by 3 p.m.
FAIRFAX, VA — The westbound left lane of Main Street from Pickett Road to Burke Station Road, and the eastbound right lane of Main Street from Burke Station Road to East Street will be closed 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday for storm drain flushing. Also:
- The westbound right lane of Main Street from Keith Avenue to Oak Street will be closed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for overhead utility work.
- The eastbound left lane of Fairfax Boulevard from Stafford Drive to Rebel Run will be closed 10 a.m.-noon for unloading of materials related to the wall project.
