Parts of Westbound Main Street Closed This Week in Fairfax City
Two lanes will be open during the work but left turns at certain points not permitted from 5 a.m.-2 p.m.
FAIRFAX, VA — Today through Friday, curb and gutter replacement will be done on westbound Main Street from University Drive to Chain Bridge Road from 5 a.m.-2 p.m.
Two-way traffic will be maintained on Main Street but left turns will not be permitted from westbound Main Street to southbound Chain Bridge Road. Southbound Chain Bridge Road traffic may use North Street to Judicial Drive to Chain Bridge Road.
Message boards will be in place to alert motorists of the alternate route.
