Police Charge 2 Suspects In Robbery Of 7-Eleven In Fairfax
Fairfax City police brought charges against two people in connection with an armed robbery on Dec. 4 at the 7-Eleven on Fairfax Boulevard.
FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Fairfax City police brought charges against two people in connection with an armed robbery on Dec. 4 at the 7-Eleven on Fairfax Boulevard.
Terrell Rayvon Tapscott, 29, of Gainesville was arrested on Dec. 25 with the assistance of the Virginia State Police. He was charged with robbery and is being held in the Fairfax County jail without bond, according to the City of Fairfax Police Department.
Kelly Jordan Smith, 25, of Chantilly was charged with robbery on Dec. 14 while already in jail on an unrelated charge, the police said.

During the Dec. 4 robbery of the 7-Eleven, the two suspects entered the store and demanded an employee open the cash drawer. One of the suspects displayed a knife and pointed it as the employee, according to the police.
Tapscott and Smith took cash and lottery tickets before fleeing the store, the police said.

The City of Fairfax Police said they were assisted in identifying the suspects by the Fairfax County Police Department.
