Police Investigate Death of Woman Thursday on Monument Drive
Fairfax County Police say a woman in her 30s jumped from the sixth floor of an apartment building; they say there was no foul play.

Fairfax County Police were investigating the death of a woman outside an apartment building located on Monument Drive Thursday afternoon in Fairfax.
A woman in her 30s died after she jumped from the sixth floor of an apartment building, according to Fairfax County Police Officer Roger Henriquez.
“There was no foul play,” he said. Police responded to a 9-1-1 call at 3:54 p.m. Thursday about the incident.

The area is near 12100 Monument Drive (see map), according to police. Police sent out a message at about 5:30 p.m. about the investigation.
Police say there ”are no indications of any threat to public safety.”
