Police Report Knife Fight at Blue Iguana Restaurant in Fairfax
Police made an arrest and one victim was sent to the hospital, police said.

Fairfax County Police say there was a knife fight early Monday at the Blue Iguana Restaurant.
The incident took place at the restaurant, located in the 12700 block of Shoppes Lane in Fairfax (see map) at about 1:34 a.m. Monday, according to police.
Officers were called to the restaurant for a report of an assault, according to police. Two adult victims were patrons at the restaurant, police said. An argument between the victims and another patron escalated to a fight, according to FCPD.

The suspect produced a knife and assaulted the victims prior to fleeing the restaurant, according to police. Officers located the suspect and arrested him.
Alexander Makris, 21, of Fairfax, was charged with malicious wounding and drunk in public. The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and one was transported to a local hospital.
