FAIRFAX, VA — Fairfax County Police Department's bomb squad investigated the report of a possible explosive device in a shed behind a home in the Greenbriar area on Saturday.

The Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit were on the scene of the investigation, at 12:30 p.m., in the 12800 block of Point Pleasant Drive, according to police.

After the EOD Unit determined that the device was an inert grenade and there was no immediate danger to the public, police issued an all-clear around 1:30 p.m.

No criminal charges were filed in this case, according to an FCPD spokesman.
